A UK company, Cog Research, has just completed an interesting study that quantifies what many of us instinctively knew but lacked empirical proof. By analyzing the state of mind of a live event visitor before and after their visit they were able to determine a number of amazing facts such as;

Before the event 32% of visitors viewed the event as the “best form of marketing.” After the number rose to 74%.

Before the event 36% of visitors viewed the event as it “makes it easier to decide,” after the number doubled to 76%.

Before the event 27% thought live events were great place to learn about corporate brands, after the event the number nearly tripled to 74%.

It’s a terrific article written by Meeting Review’s Ian Whiteling. It’s worth the read
