One of the issues standing in the way of a world-wide integration of the social media was the restricted access to the citizens of China. Recently the international press agency Reuters reported that some of these same restrictions have been relaxed.

“Internet users including students on university campuses reported that they were able to access YouTube, Facebook and Twitter on their mobile phones and desktops in the afternoon and evening on Monday and Tuesday.” The writer reported.

China, which now has more than a half-billion internet users, has taken a large step towards total technology integration. The implication of this to the exhibition world is staggering.
