There’s a new tool called “Fakers” that is designed to tell which of your social media followers are real versus those who are fake or inactive. Estimates that your current followers may fall into these latter categories run as high as 30%.

Knowing the true value of your followers has enormous ramifications including everything from marketing your exhibition to recruiting exhibitors. Size does matter but the issue that spawned a tool like “Fakers” is to be sure that followers of your Twitter or Facebook activities are those you are trying to reach
