In our very busy world sometimes the best advice is doled out in small pieces. In an interesting article in International Meetings Review, Scott Gerber listed three things organizers can do to improve the efficiency of their event’s landing page.

They include:

User Reviews: These include comments and testimonials from previous clients. It’s an excellent method to build credibility for the event.

Bold Images and Video: People tend to tire when there are too many words. Strong images and short video clips are a more effective method of conveying a message.

Motivation: This is accomplished by simplifying access to your event’s community with such tools as an easy to find Facebook widget.

The truth about short focused tips like these is that there is seldom an earth shaking epiphany, rather they are subtle reminders of good ideas that are often forgotten.
