Blogs are a great way of keeping in touch with your community, gathering feedback and opening dialogues.

Companies can benefit greatly by maintaining a blog. It helps drive engagement by establishing industry expertise, promote products and generate leads by enhancing the company’s visibility in the market.
According to a survey by marketing software company Hubspot

• 57% of companies using blogs reported that they acquired customers from leads generated directly from their blog

• From 2009 to 2011 the percentage of businesses with a blog grew from 48% to 65%

• 27% of users rated their company blog as “critical” to the business

• 85% of users rated company blogs as “useful” or better

Hubspot asked their followers to submit tips (not to exceed 140 characters) on how to leverage their company blogs. The result was dozens of great tips.

So, what can you offer about blogs that would be helpful for your peers? Please send your 140 character blog by commenting on this posting.

Hubspot listed 50 of the tips submitted which would be worthwhile for you to taker a look at.
