We have spent a lot of time examining the benefits of technology on the success of an exhibition but perhaps we have left out one of the key components to integrating new ideas – exhibitors. I have always advocated organizers taking a pro-active role in their exhibitor’s marketing efforts. In an interesting post found on TSNN’s blog, Shane Shirley, CMO for SBS Brands, offered some excellent advice for exhibitors wanting to create a more powerful presence at the exhibitions they attend.

Her tips for getting visitors engaged and excited about products and services include: the use of apps, Audience Response Polling and Digital Press Kits.

The post is a good primer and includes advice you might consider sharing with your exhibitors.
