On February 28, 2020, the German government’s coronavirus crisis management team decided that major events such as trade fairs can, in principle, continue to take place.
However, they are to be subjected to a risk assessment based on a comprehensive catalogue of criteria drawn up by the Robert Koch Institute before they are held. The decision on whether or not to hold the event remains with the organisers in consultation with the local health authorities.

For a number of international trade fairs in March 2020, the organisers have already decided, in consultation with the exhibiting industry, to postpone dates until autumn 2020 or 2021.

Beyond that, the organizers will continue to take individual decisions on the staging of their trade fairs with a high sense of responsibility and in close coordination with the health authorities.

AUMA provides up-to-date information on postponements and cancellations of exhibitions in its exhibition database at www.auma.de/Date-changes. As soon as we become aware of changes, the data will be updated. Further information on trade fairs in Germany and abroad can be obtained from the respective organizer.
