The ARIA Resort & Casino is the headquarters hotel for the upcoming UFI Congress in Las Vegas, Nov. 1-4. Located in the center of the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, the venue is part of MGM’s Luxury Meetings District, along with the Bellagio, Cosmopolitan, Nomad, Park MGM and Vdara. The District accommodates groups up to 10,000 attendees looking for a contained and innovative large group experience.
As Steve Walker, Executive Director of City Wide Sales at MGM Resorts International, explained, “It’s very easy to get from hotel to hotel. All of them are connected by covered walkways or a tram. We are in the process of enclosing all of the walkways, but for now they are all covered.”
He continued, “One of the big benefits of staying at the ARIA include its location. It’s in the middle of The Strip, making it easy to explore a variety of properties while staying here. Secondly, the meeting space where the UFI Congress takes place is easy to get to – close to the hotel elevators. Also, ARIA’s hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable, and some feature incredible Strip views.”
For me (Stephanie), I like a lot of the restaurants on the property. One of my favorite weekend (Saturday and Sunday) brunch places in the whole city is Bardot Brasserie, a wonderful French restaurant. Other fine dining options (there are many!) include Carbone (Italian), Jean Georges Steakhouse (make reservations ahead of your trip for both restaurants).
For more informal dining, the just opened Proper Eats Food Hall has a variety of food and drink options. Among the delicious offerings, I recommend giving Lola’s Burgers’ onion rings a try. There are also a couple of Starbucks, a donut shop and the amazing ARIA Patisserie, a bakery just off the casino floor.
Early November weather in Las Vegas is mild. On average, the weather is around 70-74 F (21-23 C). Late night and early morning lows tend to be near 48-52 F (9-11 C) – a comfortable temperature for those participating in the UFI Running Club. It’s also a great time to check out the outside spaces including The Park, just across from the Park MGM and adjacent to the T-Mobile Arena.
The cutoff date for hotel reservations is rapidly approaching. With one of the largest exhibitions in the US, the SEMA Show taking place the same time as the UFI Congress, as we get closer to November, hotel rooms will become more expensive and challenging to find. Book your hotel room(s) today!
