As the global automotive industry transitions toward cleaner transportation, Thailand is taking steps to support eco-technologies across multiple sectors, including exhibitions. With over 1 trillion baht invested in electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing and consistent government support, the country is developing a growing EV ecosystem. The establishment of a special economic zone for vehicle parts manufacturing further reinforces Thailand’s role in the regional EV supply chain.

While hydrogen-powered vehicles present long-term potential, current efforts focus on advancing EV adoption. These initiatives aim to deliver both economic and environmental value, encouraging increased stakeholder engagement in sustainable development.

Exhibition venues are gradually integrating green infrastructure, including EV charging stations and parking facilities. Some locations also use electric tuk-tuks and shuttle buses for on-site transportation, reflecting efforts to reduce emissions and improve visitor mobility.

An example of this transition is the upcoming Motor Expo 2025 (29 November – 10 December at IMPACT Challenger), which will highlight recent developments in EV innovation and green mobility. Events like these contribute to broader industry dialogue and provide a platform for international collaboration around future transport technologies.
