In a resent posting on www.ICEEM.net, survey results created by US based Exhibit Surveys were posted. The results were encouraging. For example the average hours an attendee spends at a trade show rose from 8.1 hours in 2010 to 8.3 hours in 2011. The average number of attendees who travelled in excess of 400 miles to reach an exhibition rose from 70% in 2010 to 78% in 2011 and first timers exhibition attendees increased from 32% in 2010 to 36% in 2011.
There is more, of course, but the overall conclusion is that the US exhibition industry seems to be on a positive road to recovery.
