UFI’s 79th Congress is coming to an end. I asked a few of the delegates what was the most important lesson they learned.
Here are their responses:
Stephanie Selesnick, President, US based International Trade Information Inc. and UFI first timer –
“This is my first time at Congress and I was impressed by the friendliness and openness of the delegates. It was the networking opportunities that were most important to me.”
Yoshichika Terasawa, Executive Managing Director, Japan based Mukuhari Messe Inc. –
“I think about Dr. Cochrane’s comment that we all need to take risks in very different ways which will help make our industry better.”
Dr. Andrzej Byrt, Chairman of the Board of Poland based Pozan International Fair –
“It confirmed my deep belief that technology is only valid if we connect it with human emotion and passion.”
Sergey Alexeen, President, Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs –
“The industry in Russia needs information to survive.”
Bjorn Delin, CEO, Sweden based Nice Events –
“For me the most important thing was meeting with the whole industry. They are like my second family.”
As the delegates leave Abu Dhabi many of them have already placed November 13 – 16 2013 on their agenda to attend UFI’s 80th Congress to be held in Seoul Korea.
