You want to create an event where your visitors say, “I want to tell people about that.”

According to Biz Bash founder and CEO David Adler, harnessing the power of your visitors to magnify those things they experience at your events, is the underlying rationale behind a social media strategy.

In a short five and a half minute video, Adler talks about the importance of surprising visitors with the unexpected. We used to call these “Kodak Moments.” It starts with creating features within the event that will stop visitors cold. Then if their imagination is ignited, they will take out their mobile device, take a photograph and post it on social media.

This short video, has good examples, and is a great primer for every organizer.
