The intriguing thing about technology is its ability to reach people in ways never before possible. Yet, many of us are cautious in its use. There is lots of information on the internet on how events can better use technology. It’s important that we read as much of what’s published as possible. I recently read an article by Ronny Elkayam who is a blogger and CEO of Moment.me, a New York based web-development company.

He posted an interesting piece called, “Use-event-technology-target-different-audiences.” The theme of his article is that different audiences respond differently to a variety of event tech tools. His discussion is in three areas: Going mobile, promotional content and leveraging the latest trend.
One example of his suggestions is focused on what he calls,”today’s selfie-obsessed generation” and suggests a best selfie award competition.
