The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) has joined forces with the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and Pattaya city to launch a new exhibition master plan, “Thailand LOG-IN Events,” under the exhibition industry recovery campaign, Re-energizing Exhibition.

TCEB’s vision for the Thailand LOG-IN Events is to collaborate the scheme of support policy, subvention, and facilitation between TCEB, EEC, and Pattaya city, to encourage industry stakeholders to expand their new profiles or create shows in Thailand, EEC, or Pattaya. The master plan includes generous support from the Re-Energizing Exhibition and multiple supports from TCEB and related government agencies to stimulate the growth of logistics and infrastructures with the extra five advanced industries: Next-generation Automotive, Automation & Robotics, Food Processing, Medical and Comprehensive Healthcare, and Defense and Disaster Management.

The master plan’s expanding support criteria is campaign-based, city-based, and country-based. Campaign-based support is for industry stakeholders who expand their new profiles or create shows in Thailand. City-based support is for expanding the new profiles or creating shows in EEC or Pattaya city, and country-based support is the enhancement of cooperation between government and organizers who organize trade show that profiles align with government’s focus industry. The full support from the government can ensure the show’s success and raise the competitiveness of the show.

EEC, as the official partner of the master plan, has the most up-to-date Logistics and Infrastructure mega projects in the EEC’s area along with various attractive investment zones from Aviation city at U-Tapao International Airport connected to Bangkok by high-speed train, to the genome sequencing center in Sriracha. EEC also confirmed the surging demand for trade shows in EEC in the next five years since numerous investors and corporations have already shown their interest to grab the opportunities in the area.

Pattaya city, as MICE city in the region, has multiple supports as ‘Pattaya City Welcome Package.’ It includes the free venue (Pattaya’s indoor stadium), discounted venue rental, advertisement in the city, local media and business networking, facilitation, VIP treatment for selected visitors, and much more, which can be arranged on a case-by-case basis.

TCEB, as one of the major support organizations, has been working hard in providing a proper ecosystem and improving the existing framework of MICE industry to facilitate international organizers in bringing international events to enjoy the business potential in Thailand.
