Who says trade fairs aren’t cool? Giovanna Duca of Studi e Strategie of Milano  brought two interesting examples of how trade fairs have become an excellent background for drama and intrigue.

The first is The city, season 2, episode 9, title One girl’s  Trash where the episode was shot during a fashion show at the Javits Center in new York.

The second was Clint Eastwood’s movie Hereafter, where its star Matt Damon finds himself in the middle of the London Book Fair.

I really like seeing trade fairs used in places I least expect. It’s kind of fun to watch and a it is constant reminder of how our industry has become part the culture.

Thanks Giovanna for these great examples. If anyone else has seen a trade fair used in a movie, television show, commercial…anywhere out of the norm, let us know.
