A recent study titled “Attendee Acquisition Challenges of Large Shows,”  complied by US based Sam Lippman who runs the Large Show Roundtable revealed some interesting results.

Here are a few:

  • Six out of ten large show organizers report social media is their top attendee acquisition strategy.
  • 31% have added attendee incentives
  • 44% have made significant changes to their educational programs
  • 52% reported that they only analyze their attendee lists  every time they begin the show cycle.
