The last decade saw a tremendous re-focus on exhibits and fairs with regard to decreasing their environmental footprint.  Our industry took great strides when it came to practices to reduce the impact and with some encouragement many of our exhibitors have followed suit.  But things have changed; not that the issues of environmental stewardship have decreased in importance, but rather the harsh reality that we may simply be running out of the resources necessary to maintain the momentum.

 

I would be very interested in hearing from UFILive subscribers and followers with your thoughts. What are you seeing in the world of exhibitions and conferences with regards to green initiatives? Do you have examples that would be helpful for our followers to read?
