If you are thinking of doing business in a country with a population of a billion plus people, then India and China are obvious choices.

 

But, not so fast, warns Stanley Chu, Chairman of Hong Kong based The Adsale Group who suggests three factors for a successful trade fair launch:

  1. Is there a local (regional) market for the products and services the fair will focus on?
  2. Are there sufficient numbers of domestic exhibitors?
  3. Is the fair supported by local contractors, suppliers and amenities?
