One common denominator I’ve found among the successful people I have had the privilege of meeting is that most of them are insatiable readers. Having said that, it seems that knowing what the people you are grooming for executive positions are reading is one indicator of the person’s potential.

We are fortunate to live in a world where opportunities to read are everywhere: books, magazines, web-sites and newsletters. Everywhere we look there is something to read. Reading, in m my opinion, helps form who we are now and what we will become in the future.

Here are’s top bestselling books of 2014

.  Richard Branson – The Virgin Way: Everything I know about Leadership,

  • John Brooks – Business Adventures: Twelve Classic Tales from the World of Wall Street,
  • Ha-Joon Chang – Economics: The Users Guide,
  • Piero Ferruci: Your Inner Will: Finding Personal Strength in Critical Times,
  • Shane Snow – Smartcuts,
  • Christian Rudder – Dataclysm: Who We Are,
  • Martin Wolf – The Shifts and the Shocks,
  • Peter Thiel – Zero to One: Notes on Startups or, How to Build the Future,
  • Eric Schmidt and Jonathan Rosenberg – Google: How Google Works.
