A few years later we met in person at an IMEX America in Las Vegas prior to both living in that city. Nest Sustainable Events Summit | 2023
The inaugural Nest Sustainable Events Summit, supported by UFI and JMIC (Joint Meetings Industry Council) takes place at the Javits Center in New York City on September 21 this year at 8:30 AM ET. A couple of weeks ago, UFI’s Managing Director/CEO Kai Hattendorf asked me to write about summer internship opportunities in the US trade show business. I’m sorry to say I only found one: MGM Resorts International, and they begin the vetting/hiring process in December. Frankly, I was surprised!
